Anastasia Vander Most

Anastasia is a rock scientist by day and performance artist and teacher by night. She was a world traveling geologist in the exploration industry, but now works at a potash mine just east of Saskatoon.

She has been Belly Dancing and Fire Dancing for the past 14 years and in 2014 started training in Aerial Arts with Yuki Block.

She has always loved Cirque du Soleil and when she learned of such an aerial art studio in Saskatoon was thrilled.

Anastasia can be seen teaching, assisting and training throughout the week in Aerial Silks, Sling and Lyra. She also teaches the adult Low Flow Hammock curriculum for those looking to participate in an alternative fitness and yoga class. Anastasia is certified with Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association and has acquired her Level 1 Aerial teaching with Jill Franklin. She is excited to be a co-owner of the Fly Studio YXE in the North end of Saskatoon.
