Romi Oquendo

Romi experienced her first aerial silks class five years ago in her home country of Ecuador at Acro Fitness Center. Romi has trained in aerial arts in New York City, and instructed in Ecuador briefly. 

Upon arriving in Saskatoon, Romi became part of the Fly Studios YXE (Move N Soar) family. Romi completed her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and now works as an Accountant when she is not instructing at Fly Studios YXE. Romi is also certified with Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association.

Romi is a gifted performer who is known for her flexibility and amazingly fast spins! In her spare time, Romi enjoys watching Netflix, stretching, and listening to music in which she says she “can’t stop imaging new aerial routines with each song.” 

Romi is excited to share her passion for aerial arts with our students, and we are delighted she is part of the Fly Studios YXE Instructor Team!
