Yuki was born and raised in Saskatoon. On the ice from the age of 2, Yuki was a Competitive Figure Skater until she retired from competitive skating and entered the world of Professional Figure Skating. She worked for Willy Bietak Productions (creator of the Ice Capades) and Royal Caribbean International as a Principle Adagio Pair Skater in various shows around the world for five years. She worked with legends in the field of skating and choreography such as Willy Bietak, Christopher Nolan, and Sylvia Froescher and had the pleasure of performing with some of the World’s Top Figure Skaters.

While living in Los Angeles, Yuki taught figure skating part time and studied aerial arts full time with professional aerialists and former Cirque Du Soliel Performers. During her time in Los Angeles, she developed a passion for aerial arts and fitness that could only be compared to her passion for figure skating. Subsequently, she traveled to renowned training facilities in Australia, Thailand, New York, Minneapolis, Las Vegas, Detroit, Orlando, Chicago, Denver, and Orange County, California to become certified to teach the various disciplines of aerial arts including lyra (hoop), fabric, sling and AntiGravity® Aerial Yoga and Fitness. Yuki is the 2 Star Instructor Trainer for AntiGravity® in Canada.

Yuki opened Saskatoon’s first aerial studio of it’s kind in 2013 and has been has enjoyed watching the Saskatoon Aerial Community expand over the years. Yuki’s excited to share her passion for aerial arts and create an empowering environment for the aerial community in Saskatoon.
