Low Flow Hammock
Accessible for persons ages 16 and up, all genders and body types. You will have to walk up stairs to get to the studio. Low Flow uses hammocks that are suspended lower to the ground than in our main studio, easy to sit in or lift a leg to be supported by the hammock. Both Fitness and Restorative classes are great options for those getting back into or starting their fitness journey.
Low Flow Fitness
If you feel you lack the physical strength or endurance to do conventional exercise but want to get the high-yield results of full body workout, Low Flow Fitness is a great alternative. This program combines elements of Yoga, Pilates and Aerial Acrobatics to give you a great workout with less impact on your joints, as you are supported by the hammock. It is a great introduction to Aerial poses and movement that can be taken to the other apparatuses we offer, Silks, Sling and Lyra (Hoop). You will learn to fly, hold your balance, gain better kinesthetic awareness, become more flexible, decompress your spine, and play with gravity. The class emphasis is to have fun while learning new skills and experiencing a total body workout.
Low Flow Restorative
Low Flow Restorative uses the hammock closer to the floor and goes through a series of gentle Yoga movements and breath to allow for deeper opening in the entire spine, hips, pelvis, shoulder girdle and more. The hammock provides weightlessness to the body to allow for better flexibility and less impact on joints and connective tissue. The intention of the class is to flow through moves and develop stillness to help center the mind and calm the nervous system, reconnecting the body to the breath. This class will also draw on the benefits of full inversions. Come to class to draw awareness to your body and find inner-quiet peace while suspended in mid-air.
